Deleting backups in Cloud Backup

There are two methods you can use in deleting backups through the Cloud Backup Console. Simply follow the guides below.

Deleting Online and Present Machines

Here’s how to delete backups of online and present machines in the Cloud Backup Console:

  1. Access the Cloud Backup Console.
  2. On the All Devices tab under DEVICES found on the left menu bar, select a machine whose backups you want to delete.
  3. Click Recovery from the right menu bar.
  4. Select the location from which the backups will be deleted.
  5. Do either of the following:

    • To delete a single backup or a single recovery point – Select the backup to be deleted then click the X to the right of the selected backup.
    • To delete all the backups in a selected location – Click the Delete all link.
  6. Click DELETE from the popup window to confirm your decision.

Congratulations! You have now successfully deleted backups from online/present machines in Cloud Backup.

Deleting Any Machine

Here’s how to delete backups of any machine in the Cloud Backup Console:

  1. Access the Cloud Backup Console.
  2. On the BACKUPS tab, select the location from which the backups will be deleted.
    All the backups your account is allowed to view in the selected location will now be displayed by the software. The backups are combined in groups, basing the group names on the following template:
    <machine name> - <backup plan name>
  3. Under Locations, select a group.
  4. Do either of the following:

    • To delete a single backup or a single recovery point – Click Show Backups then click the X to the right of the selected backup.
    • To delete the selected group – Click the Delete tab below Show Backups.
  5. Click DELETE from the popup window to confirm your decision.

Congratulations! You have now successfully deleted backups from any machine in Cloud Backup.
