Set Up cPanel or Plesk Email on iPhone or iPad Gmail App

This guide will help you set up your Crazy Domains email (cPanel Email or Plesk Email) using the Gmail app on your iPhone or iPad.

Before you proceed, make sure you have:

  • downloaded and installed the Gmail app on your phone.
  • created your email account already. See our guide on how you can create an email account.
  • tried accessing the email via webmail and confirmed that sending and receiving are working.
  • a stable internet connection.
  • your email address and password handy.

NOTE

  • Gmail app for iPhone only uses the IMAP protocol.
  • The setup interface may vary from one device or iOS version to another.

Setting Up Email on iPhone or iPad Gmail App

  1. Open the Gmail app on your phone.
  2. Tap your profile on the top-right corner and select Add another account.

  3. Tap Other (IMAP) from the Set up email list.

  4. Enter the email address you're trying to set up and tap Next.

  5. Ensure that your Username is your complete email address, then enter your Password.
  6. Enter the Incoming server settings (see the guide below), then tap Next.

  7. IMAP Server
    Enter your hosting server name. See this guide to know where to find it.
    Port
    143, or 993 (if you will enable SSL/TLS settings)
  8. Enter the Outgoing server settings (see the guide below), then tap Next. Wait while the network validates your settings.

  9. SMTP Server
    Enter your hosting server name. See this guide to know where to find it.
    Port
    587, or 465 (if you will enable SSL/TLS settings)
  10. In the Your Name field, type in the name you want to be displayed in your sent messages, and then click Next. Your account is ready to use.

NOTE

  • Give a little time for your messages to completely load as you may not immediately see them after setting up your email account.
  • Send a test email to check if the setup is successful.
