Set Up cPanel or Plesk Email on Android Gmail App

This guide will help you set up your Crazy Domains email (cPanel Email or Plesk Email) on the Gmail app of your Android phone.

Before you proceed, make sure you have:

  • downloaded and installed the Gmail app on your phone.
  • created your email account already. See our guide on how you can create an email account.
  • tried accessing the email via webmail and confirmed that sending and receiving are working.
  • a stable internet connection.
  • your email address and password handy.

Setting Up Email Account on Android Gmail App

  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. Tap Add an email address if it’s your first-time using Gmail.

    Otherwise, tap your profile on the top-right corner and select Add another account.

  3. Tap Other from the Set up email list.

  4. Enter the email address you're trying to set up, and then tap MANUAL SETUP.

  5. Choose either POP3 or IMAP as your account type.

  6. Enter the password and tap NEXT.

  7. Edit the Incoming server settings based on the account type you've chosen from Step 4, then tap NEXT.

  8. IMAP ACCOUNT SETTINGS

    Incoming Mail Server
    mail.(yourdomain.tld)
    Port
    143, or 993 (if you will enable SSL/TLS settings)

    POP ACCOUNT SETTINGS

    Incoming Mail Server
    mail.(yourdomain.tld)
    Port
    110, or 995 (if you will enable SSL/TLS settings)

    NOTE

    • Replace yourdomain.tld with your actual domain name.
    • If you’ll be prompted with a certificate disclaimer, just click Advanced, scroll down and tap Proceed Anyway.

  9. Enter the Outgoing server settings, then tap NEXT.

  10. IMAP ACCOUNT SETTINGS

    Outgoing Mail Server
    mail.(yourdomain.tld)
    Port
    25, 587, or 465 (if you will enable SSL/TLS settings)

    POP ACCOUNT SETTINGS

    Outgoing Mail Server
    mail.(yourdomain.tld)
    Port
    25, 587, or 465 (if you will enable SSL/TLS settings)

    NOTE

    • Replace yourdomain.tld with your actual domain name.
    • If you’ll be prompted with a certificate disclaimer, just click Advanced, scroll down and tap Proceed Anyway.

  11. Adjust your account preference settings, then tap NEXT.

  12. Update the Account name and Your name fields if you want, then tap NEXT. Your account is good to go.

NOTE

  • Give a little time for your messages to completely load as you may not immediately see them after setting up your email account.
  • Send a test email to check if the setup is successful.
