  1. Copy unique code given to you after signing up.
  2. Enter YourDomainName/wp-admin on a browser:

    Important Note: Replace YourDomainName with your actual website.

  3. Enter username and password, and click Log In.
  4. On the left-hand corner, click Appearance, then select Editor.
  5. On the right-hand corner, click Theme Header (header.php).
  6. Look for the header end tag which is as follows:

  7. Before the header end tag, insert your verification code.
  8. Click Update File.

How to Add Verification Code in FTP

Here's a step-by-step guide to add verification code using FTP.

  1. Register a Google AdSense account.
  2. Copy unique code given to you after signing up.
  3. Access your FTP client, and provide the following on the necessary fields:
    Hostname ftp.yourdomain.com
    Username Hosting Username
    Password Hosting Password
    Port 21
  4. Follow the given path to open your theme folder:
    /public_html/wp-content/themes/ThemeName

    Important Note: Replace ThemeName with your current WordPress theme.

  5. Right click on header.php file, and select Edit.
  6. Look for the header end tag which is as follows:
    </header>
  7. Before the header end tag, insert your verification code.
  8. Click Save.
