How to Update DNS via Exchange Manager

If you have an Email Exchange hosting registered with Crazy Domains and the Domain connected to the Exchange hosting is using our Exchange Name Servers (stated below), then all other DNS updates should be done via your Exchange Manager:

  • ns1.premium.exchange
  • ns2.premium.exchange

The following DNS records can be updated via your Exchange Manager:

In plain language, the Domain Name System (DNS) is what keeps your websites and emails working properly. It ensures that you pull up the right website when entering a Domain Name in a browser, or that the email you send is received by the right person, and that the reply gets back to you, too.

Read on to learn how you can check and update your DNS records through the Exchange Manager.

How to Update DNS records

Once you’ve made sure that you’re using the Name Servers for our Email Exchange hosting, then you’re ready to update your DNS via Exchange Manager. Although there are different types of DNS records, you can check and update them using the same set of steps below:

  1. Log In to your Exchange Manager.
  2. Under the System section, click on Domains.
  3. Click on the Domain Name that you wish to manage.
  4. Click on the Edit DNS zone records button.
  5. Click on the Pencil Icon corresponding to the DNS record that you wish to update, then enter the new data in the fields provided.
    Or, click on the Add record button at the top and click on the currentRecord Type to select a new one, then enter the Record data in the fields provided.
  6. Once done, click Save.
