Domain Name Showing as Pending Approval

Every new account that is registered with Crazy Domains undergoes an approval process before any hosting or registration service can be used. This includes a rigid verification of the account’s details to ensure that the information provided to us is true and correct.

The “Pending Approval” status means that the Domain Name you have purchased has already been submitted to the Registry — but is still waiting for activation. Furthermore, a Domain Name may be under this status for one or more of the following reasons:

• This may indicate an issue with your payment details, or the signup process is incomplete.
• You are using a Domain Name registered with another Registrar, and the changes needed for the name server settings have not yet taken effect.
• It can take several hours for the automated approval system to proceed to your request if there are also other accounts waiting to be approved.

Note: The approval process can take up to 48 hours.

You will be notified through Email once the approval is complete. Without this Confirmation Email, the Domain Name should be considered in Pending Approval status.

To make sure, you can also perform a WhoIs search to find out the current status of the Domain Name from the registry.
