How Long Does an Incoming Domain Transfer Take

Domain Transfer refers to the process of changing the designated registrar of a domain name. Once a transfer has been made, the new registrar will be responsible for keeping and managing your Domain Name System (DNS) records.

A domain transfer can take up to 5-7 days in most cases, depending on the domain extension. Different domains have different transfer times and processes.

You will receive a confirmation email when the transfer has been completed. The domain transfer status can also be tracked within your Account Manager.

If you have submitted a domain transfer request and have NOT received a transfer acceptance confirmation email within 24 hours, contact us for immediate action.
