Why Is Domain Privacy Not Available

Domain Privacy lets you protect your domain registration details from spammers, hackers and identity thieves, who take advantage of information that’s displayed publicly on the WhoIs domain search directory.

A Domain Privacy option is not available when a domain registration is not supported to use WhoIs Privacy Protection. Some Registries do not allow Domain Privacy service as per their rules and regulations, e.g. the Austria .AT domain. Other domains can still have privacy protection but on a reduced level, as is the case with Australia’s .AU domain where only your Technical Contact Information can be hidden.
