Manage DNS Records in cPanel
This guide will explain how you can manage the DNS records of your domain name in cPanel or hosting manager.
NOTE: The cPanel DNS Zone is only available if you have Linux-based hosting products (e.g., Web Hosting, Standard Email Hosting, Website Builder) with Crazy Domains.
How to Manage the DNS Records in cPanel
To add, modify, or delete DNS records in cPanel, follow these steps:
- Go to the cPanel DNS Zone Editor.
- Select the specific record that you want to manage and perform the necessary steps:
- Ensure the domain name is connected to the following set of name servers appropriately:
- ns1.syrahost.com
- ns2.syrahost.com
See our guide on How To Change the Name Servers of My Domain.
- Wait for the DNS change to fully resolve on the internet.
IMPORTANT : Changes to the Name Servers and DNS records will take two to four hours to fully work on the internet. However, some ISPs have their TTL duration that could override our maximum DNS resolution time. It may cause the changes to take up to 24-48 hours to fully work.
