How to download the Cloud Backup Agent
If you have a Cloud Backup account with Crazy Domains, you can store your backup files in your own Cloud space via the Account Manager. For further convenience, you can also install and use the Cloud Backup Agent on the devices you want to back up.
Important note: Your device must be connected to the internet in order for you to access your files and folders stored in the Cloud.
How to prepare your machine/device for the Cloud Backup Installation
Before downloading a Cloud Backup Agent, here are some things you need to do first:
Choose an Agent
There are different backup agents/installers for different data, machines, or operating systems. In order for your Cloud Backup to work efficiently, you need to get the backup agent or installer relevant to the machine or data you want to create a backup of.
Refer to the table below to know which backup agent/installer you need:

Note: If you installed any of the Agents for Exchange, SQL, VMware, Hyper-V, or Active Directory, you will already have the Agent for Windows. For instance, if you already installed the Agent for Exchange, and your computers is running Windows, you will also be able to create a backup of your computer's entire hard drive.
Check System Requirements
Before installing the Cloud Backup Agent, it is highly recommended that you check first if your device meets the installer’s system requirements, or it will not be able to run the program. To do this, follow the instructions below:
- Click Sign Up / Log In at the top of this page.
- Ensure that the Account Manager is selected.
- Enter your username and password, and click Log In.
- Click on the Visit My Account button.
- In the menu bar, click the Cloud Backup icon.
- Click the relevant Cloud Backup account you want to set up.
- Next, click the phrase System Requirements below the Download button.
A pop-up box will then display all the devices that can run the Cloud Backup Agent software.
How to download the Cloud Backup Agent
After registering a Cloud Backup plan from Crazy Domains and preparing your machine for the installation, you need to download and install the Cloud Backup Agent. You can download the installer via the Account Manager.
To know how to download the Cloud Backup Agent, follow the steps below:
- Click Sign Up / Log In at the top of this page.
- Ensure that the Account Manager is selected.
- Enter your username and password, and click Log In.
- Click on the Visit My Account button.
- In the menu bar, click the Cloud Backup icon.
- Click the relevant Cloud Backup you want to set up.
- Next, scroll down to the App Download section. Select from the drop-down menu which operating system (OS) your machine or device, in which you are going to install the agent, is using. Click the Download button to the right.
Depending on the file size and your internet connection, you may have to wait a few minutes for the download to complete.
