Error Displays Invalid Name Servers

When you add or update Name Servers, the system undergoes a verification process if the Name Servers you wish to add or update exist on the Registry. This Name Server check is also enforced by the Registry itself. If the Name Servers are verified to be existing, you will be able to successfully add them. However, if the Name Servers were not correctly registered, an error will occur — resulting to Invalidity.

In the event that an Invalid Name Servers error still displays at the top of the screen despite having been successfully added them, there are a couple of things you need to check further:

  • Are you delegating to Name Servers that are active Hosts? If you are delegating your Domain, there is a chance that your Name Servers have not been added to the Registry yet. If you are using Child Name Servers, make sure they are correctly created using this guide.
  • If you are sure that you have valid Hosts, double check if you have entered the IP Address correctly.

If our system still won't accept your Name Servers, don’t hesitate to contact us for immediate assistance.

Note: Name Server updates are applied immediately but may take up to 24-48 hours to propagate across the internet. If you have updated your Name Servers and still see no change, kindly wait for the propagation period to finish, or you can refer to this article.
